ARTISTS’ ACOMPLISHMENTS

Diane studied art and design at University of Wisconsin - River Falls and Wisconsin State University – Stout, in Menomonie. Throughout the years she’s taken art classes and sold fine art to her clients. She has represented other artists in their marketing endeavors and has painted with nationally renowned artists. Wall murals in residential and commercial application are something she concentrated on before attaining her studio. She currently enjoys ongoing studies with an instructor in our fine arts district.

Her 25 year career in interior design entailed much creativity and continuous drawing and sketching. She became accomplished in the designing of tile and stone layouts, complex drapery treatments and area rugs. Kitchen and bath design followed as she wound up a rewarding career. The world of art and design are intricately related as they all deal with form, function, texture, color and contrast and their relation to one another.

Diane is currently focusing on studio art and writing poetry and short stories. Some of the stories are to be added to a series of characters in her ‘Misty Forest’ series.
